Radiologic Technologist

Location: Greeneville Community Hospital

Job Description:

• The Radiologic Technologist correlates and integrates radiologic aspects of care for all patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
• Follows prescribed techniques in administering general and specific x-rays.
• Adjusts equipment and determines proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time distance.
• Arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain the position of patients.
• Adjusts lead shields and selects the proper detector.
• Interacts with the radiology management system and participates in clerical activities to ensure smooth workflow and provide documentation for patient charges.

Requirements:

• Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology and/or a graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid and active ARRT certification.
• AHA BLS required.

Work Requirements:

• Shift: Day
• On Call: No
• Weekends: Rotating
• Travel Required: No Travel
