Cardiology Physician

Job Description:

• Practice setting: Mostly outpatient with occasional inpatient consults.
• Perform occasional transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Preference for 5-day per week coverage - Full time.
• Reason for coverage: Vacancy.
• Call ratio: None.
• Average number of clinic patients per day: 10-13, a mix of new patients and follow-ups.
• Average number of inpatient admissions per physician per day: 0-1 (inpatient consults).
• Number of cardiologists in the group: 8. Other cardiologists will be present during locum coverage.
• Supervised with 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Patient age demographic: Adult, geriatric.
• Documentation system/EMR: Meditech Expanse.
