    Pediatric Endocrinologist Physician

    Location: Central North Carolina

    Job Description:

    • Start: As soon as credentialed
    • Schedule: Minimum 2 weeks per month. 1 weekend of call coverage, and 1 week of call coverage. Call coverage TBD. Mon-Fri Clinic 8a-5p with call coverage TBD
    • Call: Call will consist of consults and rounding at main hospital location
    • Flexible scheduling: Provider can choose to conduct rounds prior to clinic or after lunch, depending on patient load
    • Patients per day: 10-12 with a mix of new and follow-ups
    • Patient Age Group: Birth - 21
    • Department description: Provider will see 10-12 patients with 60 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for follow-ups. Treating adrenal gland conditions, diabetes, early or delayed puberty, growth problems, lipid disorders, low blood sugar, menstrual disorders, obesity, pituitary gland conditions, thyroid gland conditions, vitamin D deficiency
    • Collaborative specialties: Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Genetics, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Pulmonology, Pediatric Complex Care Clinic, after NICU care, and Pediatric Development and Behavior
    • EMR: EPIC

    Requirements:

    • Board Certification: BC or BE in Pediatric Endocrinology
    • NC license
    • DEA
    • ACLS, BLS, PALS (Or willing to obtain)
    • Clean Malpractice
    • Local candidates preferred

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Hourly rate: $185 for W2 and $210 for 1099
    • Weekly stipend: $1379
