As a reputable organization committed to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team as a Medical Director.
Job Description:
- Provide psychiatric leadership across various levels of care, from Detox and Residential treatment to Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) programs, including virtual services.
- Role is 50% clinical in Maine and 50% administrative, with oversight of programs in New Hampshire.
- Conduct clinical duties, including patient evaluations, chart reviews, patient calls, and sign-offs.
- Lead the development and implementation of medical protocols for detox and addiction treatment programs.
- Collaborate with the executive team to identify and implement clinical process improvements.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all treatment programs in Maine and New Hampshire.
- Participate in program audits and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Engage with stakeholders, including clinical staff, patients, and families, to ensure high-quality care and communication.
Requirements:
- MD/DO licensed Psychiatrist in Maine (with licensure or willingness to obtain in NH)
- 3+ years of experience in mental health and substance use disorder treatment
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities effectively
- Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Compensation:
- Pay: $250,000 - $350,000 per year
- Schedule: Full-Time (Hybrid)

- Behavioral health: 3 years (Preferred)
