Primary Therapist
We are a Behavioral Health group specializing in substance use disorder and co-occurring issues. Job Description
- Provide assistance to individuals with varying levels of substance addictions and mental health disorders.
- Deliver high-quality care using evidence-based modalities to help clients heal and recover.
- Perform client care, provide group therapy, treatment planning, and coordinate discharge planning.
- Participate in and lead therapeutic groups and activities and function as an active member of the team.
- Demonstrate clinical treatment in compliance with JCAHO standards.
- Recognize the unique needs and behaviors of the clients.
- Assist in preparation of utilization review monthly reports.
- Provide assessments with empathy and concern for clients and arrive at accurate diagnoses by the end of the evaluation session, updating when new information and clinical status warrant.
- Provide clinical consultation and guidance to staff consistent with their needs.
- Assist program supervisor to perform chart reviews.
- Take a lead role in the coordination and assessment of all intakes and referrals to assigned programs.
- Act as liaison with all referral sources and community-based services.
Requirements
- Must be able to demonstrate competency in recognizing the unique needs and behavior of clients.
- Clinical License for the state of FL (preferred).
- Substance Use Disorder Professional experience.
- Mental health counseling experience.
- PHP/IOP level of care experience.
- Master's Degree.

Experience
- Substance use counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
- PHP/IOP level of care: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mental health counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
- Detox/Res level of care: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification
FL Clinical License (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate
Delray Beach, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
