Job Description:
- Full-time Dayshift and Nightshift positions available, along with PRN opportunities.
- Perform all respiratory care related duties to meet the needs of Hacienda Healthcare clients.
- Responsibilities include patient transport, assessment, and advocacy.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Provide respiratory care including emergency care, routine procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform procedures like oxygen therapy, administering pharmacological agents, artificial airway care, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Operate ventilators for mechanical ventilation of adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
- Monitor patient responses and implement appropriate treatment changes.
- Provide patient instruction on respiratory care procedures and equipment.
- Participate in EKG testing and ensure safety measures are enforced.
- Assist nursing staff with various tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
- Valid and current CRT or RRT Credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Valid and current State of Arizona license to practice respiratory care.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
