    Cardiac Care - Physician Assistant

    Join our team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, where the Physician Assistant performs their role utilizing the patient-centered coordinated care model. This position demonstrates competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The Physician Assistant works collaboratively with other members of the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs, providing 24/7 coverage for the Cardiac Care ICU at JSUMC.

    Job Description

    • 24/7 Flex Coverage for Cardiac Care Inpatient Unit
    • Flexible shifts (12-13 hours or 8 hours)
    • Full Time (40 hours/week)

    Requirements

    • New Jersey PA license
    • Successful completion of an approved physician assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education
    • Demonstrates effective communication and leadership skills including teaching principles, organizational and presentation skills
    • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
