Job Description

The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation (radiation therapy treatments) to patients as specifically prescribed by a physician in a detailed treatment plan according to established standards and practices.

Requirements

• Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation accredited education program or Radiologic Technology/Radiation Therapy Program.
• 1+ years of experience as a radiation therapist with comprehensive clinical knowledge to include treatment delivery and simulation.
• Active and current ARRT certification in Radiological Therapy.
• Basic Life Support and CPR certifications.
• Skillful in leadership, judgment, creativity, and significant knowledge of the field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Aria and EPIC particularly scheduling, charge capture, treatment delivery, historical treatment record interpretation, and clinical data.
