Job Description

• On-site supervision of providers and educators, including annual review and privileging
• Collaboration with Administrative Director on day-to-day operations
• Collaboration on strategy, development, and enhancement of inpatient and outpatient programs, including recruitment
• Participation in quality and risk management for inpatient and outpatient services for Backus Hospital & Hartford HealthCare Medical Group (HCMG)
• Implementation of outpatient and inpatient protocols at Backus Hospital in alignment with HHC protocols for the Endocrine Service Line
• Participation in quality safety meetings, endocrine councils, and all other committees, as needed

Requirements

• Fellowship trained Endocrinologist eligible to practice or obtain a license to practice in the state of Connecticut
• Minimum of 5 years' experience preferred
