Regional Medical Director, Primary Care

Job Description
- Work closely with the Regional Operations Directors, Regional APP Leads, and Practice Managers in oversight of the clinical operations in the Primary Care practices within a defined region.
- Work with senior leaders to develop Primary Care strategy and translate that into effective operations to meet the goals of the organization and system.
- Responsible for oversight, administration, and management of physician and APP provider staff.
- Responsible for quality monitoring and improvement and standardization efforts, using the tools and infrastructure available including key data dashboards.
- Responsible for hiring new provider colleagues, as well as overseeing orientation and onboarding activities for all new hires.
Requirements
- 50% Leadership Administration, 50% office-based, outpatient Primary Care
- Full-time schedule
- Optional teaching with faculty appointment
- Phone call only averages 2 call weekends per year and 1-weeknight every 2 months
