    Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency

    Per Diem Night shift, must be able to work 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts per 2-week period.

    Job Description

    • Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
    • Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.
    • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
    • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

    Requirements

    • Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
    • An active Arizona RN License or Compact License required.
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS required upon hire.
    • TNCC required within 6 months of hire.
    • Moderate and Deep Sedation, EKG Course, and NIHSS Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire.
    • 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department preferred. 1 year of experience as a Paramedic; EMT or ED Tech combined with 1 year of RN experience will be considered.
