    Job Description

    • Provide safe and effective anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures.
    • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
    • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Monitor patients throughout the surgical procedure and provide post-operative pain management.
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system.
    • Participate in departmental activities and contribute to the overall success of the anesthesia program.
    • (Optional) Contribute to the education of medical students and residents by providing mentorship and teaching opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or board-eligible with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence.
    • Possess or be eligible to obtain an active state medical license in Washington State.
    • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
    • The ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records within the electronic medical records system.
    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (religious and medical exemptions considered upon request).
