    Interventional Cardiologist

    We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Fort Scott, KS. This role offers an exciting chance to provide high-quality cardiovascular care in a well-established outpatient setting. The position is available from ASAP through an ongoing basis, allowing flexibility for physicians seeking both short-term or extended locum tenens assignments.

    As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will provide scheduled clinical care and participate in call coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to cover for a vacationing physician while potentially expanding your professional connections for future opportunities in 2025, as the facility continues to assess its needs for the upcoming year.

    Job Description

    • Provide outpatient interventional cardiology care.
    • Handle call responsibilities as scheduled.
    • Work closely with the cardiology team to ensure high standards of care.

    Requirements

    • Board Certification: Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
    • Licensure: Must hold a current Kansas medical license.
    • Active Kansas license required, BLS and PALS certification required.
    • Credentialing timeframe is estimated at 60-90 days, with expedited credentialing possible for the right candidate.
