Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician

Are you a skilled and motivated OB/GYN physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant Minnesota community south of the Twin Cities? We are actively searching for qualified physicians to join our expanding network of locum tenens OB/GYNs and provide coverage across three well-equipped facilities. This role offers the chance to utilize your expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings, while enjoying the amenities of a growing and diverse Minnesota community.

Job Description

• Long-term opportunity: This locum tenens position offers a contract length of 6 months to 1 year, providing stability and the chance to build relationships within the community.
• Flexible schedule options: We are seeking 7-8 locums to create a flexible float pool, allowing you to choose shifts that best fit your schedule.
• Diverse patient population: You will have the opportunity to care for women across a range of needs, with inpatient coverage available at two facilities.
• Modern facilities: All three facilities utilize Epic, a user-friendly Electronic Medical Records system for efficient documentation and patient care coordination.
• Two distinct practice environments:
  • High-acuity facility: Offers a fast-paced environment with medium case volume, in-house call shifts available 7 days a week for physicians comfortable with the demands.
    • Shift details:
      • Day shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10.5 hours)
      • Night shift: 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM (13.5 hours)
      • Weekend shifts: 12 hours
      • No back-to-back 24-hour shifts
  • Low-volume facility: Offers a relaxed environment with 1-2 deliveries per day, requiring off-site call coverage only.

Requirements

• Board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN physician
• Clean professional record, free of malpractice claims (mandatory)
• Willingness to obtain a Minnesota license (we can assist with the process)
