We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Obstetrician and Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Fort Bragg, NC. This role is ideal for a physician looking for a short-term assignment with call-only coverage.

Job Description

• Round on patients, providing comprehensive care during inpatient stays.
• Be on-call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and any emergent GYN procedures.
• Manage emergent high-risk deliveries, with transfers to specialized facilities as needed.
• Collaborate with hospitalist support staff, on-call anesthesiology, and radiology support.
• Average 27 deliveries monthly, with 11 being C-sections; manage 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum beds.

Requirements

• Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Must hold an active medical license in the state of North Carolina.
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Must be actively delivering babies, with case logs from the past 24 months.
• The estimated credentialing timeframe is 10 days.
