Job Description
- Provide comprehensive medical care for hospitalized patients.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform patient care.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in the Cerner electronic health record system.
Requirements
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
- Current and active license to practice medicine in Arizona (AZ).
- Strong clinical skills and experience in managing a variety of medical conditions in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Proficient in Cerner electronic medical record system.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications are required.
