    Job Description

    • Focus on personalized care: This locum tenens position allows you to provide thorough and attentive care to an average of 2 patients per day, with a total inpatient census of 5.
    • Work-life balance: Enjoy predictable call expectations, with the requirement to be within 30 minutes of the facility during call, not necessarily on-site. This allows for a healthy work-life balance.
    • Supportive environment: Work within a collaborative team in a 10-bed pediatric unit fostering a patient-centered approach.
    • Advanced technology: Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to ensure efficient documentation and communication.
    • Meaningful impact: Contribute your expertise to the well-being of children in our community, including providing care in the newborn nursery, for scheduled C-sections, and deliveries.

    Requirements

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine (required).
    • Current and active license to practice medicine in North Carolina (only).
    • BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (required).
    • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

    Additional Notes

    • New providers are required to attend orientation the day before their first shift to ensure a smooth transition.
