General Medicine Locum Tenens Opportunity near LA SAL, UT

Are you a dedicated General Medicine provider seeking a flexible opportunity to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments? We are seeking General Medicine Providers for locum coverage across the country, with positions available near LA SAL, UT.

Job Description

• Need is on a PRN basis, offering flexibility to accommodate various schedules.
• We welcome professionals from various backgrounds, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with experience in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.
• Choose between traveling to perform exams or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing flexibility and autonomy.
• Choose between days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) to accommodate your preferences.
• Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.
• Benefit from a quick credentialing and onboarding process to expedite your start.
• Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.
• Utilize a Goniometer and your own personal laptop (NO MACs) for examinations.
• Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, emphasizing completion of standardized form(s) rather than narrative reports.
• Utilize the provider portal for streamlined evaluation processes.
• Active participation in record reviews required to ensure comprehensive assessment and documentation.
• Regular follow-up administrative tasks including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics to maintain thorough patient records.

Requirements

• Ensure board certification in your respective field.
• Utah state license required.
