Traumatic Brain Injury Physician

Traumatic Brain Injury physician needed to join a locum practice in Alabama. This position offers flexible coverage dates starting ASAP and ongoing on a PRN basis as needed. Shifts are to be determined, with half days being 4 hours or less and full days ranging from 4 to 8 hours. The physician will have the option to work weekends if desired or needed.

Job Description

• Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.
• Conduct primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluating traumatic brain injury.
• Exams will include a mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations.
• No prescribing or treatment involved.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 0-3 years of residency.
• Must be licensed in Alabama.
• Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is required.
