Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist needed for a locum practice in Iowa. This position offers coverage dates from ASAP and ongoing, with rotating weekday/weeknight/holiday call. Weekends are most likely 1 in 3 or 4. Typically, the schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM available on the inpatient unit, with rotating weekday/weeknight call and weekend/holiday coverage. The role includes 24-hour call with 4-8 hours of rounding per day.

Job Description

• Inpatient with some medical consult coverage (usually less than 1 per day)

Requirements

• The candidate must be board certified and must be licensed in Iowa
• Clean malpractice/background highly preferred
• Iowa DEA and BLS required
