    Orthopaedic Surgeon

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Duchesne, Utah. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is board certified or eligible, with a preference for those with fellowship training. The position requires coverage for both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a primary focus on call coverage. The role offers a flexible schedule with the potential for ongoing assignments.

    Job Description

    • Provide call coverage for orthopaedic surgery cases
    • Manage and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions
    • Perform surgeries and follow-up care as needed
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
    • Participate in rounds for assigned patients

    Requirements

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery (fellowship training preferred)
    • ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS required
    • Must meet state licensing requirements for Utah; temporary privileges available
    • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is required

    Schedule and Coverage

    • Call coverage primarily, with potential for additional duties
    • Initial coverage dates: August 16-19 (7am start)
    • Ongoing coverage needs anticipated
