    Job Description

    • Location: Near Summertown, Tennessee
    • Start Date: Immediate, ongoing through 2025
    • Schedule:
      • Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
      • Hospital coverage: 24/7 availability
      • Call: Yes, including nights and weekends
    • Patient Load:
      • Clinic: Approximately 8 patients per day
      • Hospital: 1-3 patients per shift
      • Age Range: Pediatric patients (0-18 years)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide both inpatient and outpatient pediatric surgical care
    • Cover scheduled clinical hours plus on-call responsibilities
    • Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including:
      • General and laparoscopic surgeries
      • Trauma surgeries
      • Neonatal and pediatric-specific surgeries such as appendectomy, hernia repairs, and intestinal surgeries
    • Collaborate with a supportive team including pediatric anesthesiologists and intensivists

    Requirements

    • Board Certification: Required or Board Eligible
    • Fellowship: Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Surgery
    • Certifications: PALS and BLS required
    • Licensing: Must be licensed in Tennessee or eligible for IMLC
