Job Description

• Provide 24/7 urological care in an inpatient setting
• Call coverage on an ongoing basis, with Monday volumes typically higher following weekends
• Collaborate with the surgical team and support staff for comprehensive patient care
• Rounding duties may be shared with the APC, who assists with morning hospital rounds
• Manage variable call volumes, depending on the day and specific needs

Requirements

• Board certification: Eligible (Board certification not required for the assignment)
• License: Must hold an active Minnesota license or be eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Certifications required:
  • ACLS: Required
  • BLS: Required
  • PALS: Not required
• Temporary privileges: Available for fast onboarding
• Hospital privileges: Not required

• Admissions: Yes, admissions are required
• Rounding: Required, with support from an experienced APC
• Stroke certification: Yes, the facility is stroke certified
