    Job Description

    • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of co-occurring mental health needs of patients.
    • Treatment of patients will involve assessment and therapy, including group therapy, with patients who present with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses.
    • Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, crisis intervention, supervision of unlicensed mental health staff, and ongoing care planning.
    • Provide mental health assessment, ensuring proper identification of mental health and substance use concerns, as well as barriers to recovery and stability.
    • Provide individual and/or group therapy utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies and best practices.
    • Provide mental health consultation and information to educate patients, customers, and staff members regarding the dynamics of mental health issues in recovery. Seek and receive consultation from others in order to provide comprehensive care.
    • Facilitate crisis intervention to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients.

    Requirements

    • Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field.
    • Fully licensed in the state you are practicing as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, or similar (FL: LP, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC).
    • Current CPR Card or obtain within 30 days of hire (Certification must be from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
    • Individual National Provider Identification (NPI) number.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Twelve Step treatment approaches and stages of recovery.
    • Knowledge/training in addiction studies.
    • Willingness to be licensed in other states.
    • Spanish fluency.
