Orthopaedic Surgery of the Spine

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Ortho Spine for an immediate need in Reston, VA.

Job Description

• Develop protocols and plans of treatment under physician supervision
• Serve as a liaison between the physician, the patient, and their families
• Work in collaboration with the physician to assess patient needs
• Order, interpret, and record results of clinical tests and report results to physicians
• Prescribe medications and make recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment in conjunction with the treating physician
• Ensure that patient outcomes are achieved within a safe time frame while delivering quality patient care

Requirements

• Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Must possess current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or ability to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
