Inpatient Nocturnist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

St. David's Healthcare would like to recruit an inpatient nocturnist acute care nurse practitioner to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas.

Job Description

• Board certified acute care nurse practitioner
• Licensed in the state of Texas
• Hospital-based position managing critical care patients
• Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
• Responsible for conducting rounds on patients, performing assessments, coordinating and evaluating the plan of care, and implementing discharge plans at the direction and supervision of the primary physician
• Administers medications/treatments and is capable of obtaining arterial and central venous access, intubation
• Competent with patients post VAD/Temp VAD/ECMO
• No on-call requirements
