    CT Technologist

    Job Description:

    • Use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis.
    • Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions and administer contrast materials.
    • Prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, positioning the patient to capture appropriate images.
    • Demonstrate solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
    • Communicate and work independently in performing all CT procedures on patients ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
    • Reflect concern and consideration in interactions with patients, medical staff, and employees.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
    • Certified by ARRT; ARRT(RT)(CT) required and CE compliance.
    • Current BLS certification required.
    • 1 year diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.
    • Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
    • Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.
