    Cardiovascular Surgeon

    Location: Palm Beach, Florida

    HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a board-certified cardiovascular surgeon to join a highly collaborative team of clinicians, including cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and advanced heart failure cardiologists, working together to enhance heart care in our community.

    Job Description:

    • Participate in a collaborative team of clinicians
    • Engage in cardiovascular surgery with procedures including CABG with multi-arterial conduits, aortic and mitral valve repair and/or replacement
    • Work in advanced heart failure surgery, including ECMO, transcatheter LVAD including Impella and RV support
    • Perform transcatheter therapies such as TAVR, TEER, and collaborate with the interventional cardiology group
    • Collaborate with EP group on arrhythmia surgery including atrial fibrillation surgery
    • Desire to participate in clinical research

    Requirements:

    • MD/DO
    • Must be US board-certified in cardiac surgery
    • Minimum of 3-5 years post-fellowship practice experience
    • Preferable experience in advanced heart failure surgery
