Join our team at The Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, TN, where we are committed to providing exceptional resident care. We are currently hiring full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for both day and night shifts, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Job Description

• Provide resident care by utilizing the nursing process in assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
• Exhibit organizational abilities related to workflow and prioritizing resident care needs.
• Use current standards of practice and follow facility policies and procedures while providing resident care.
• Support the mission of The Health Center at Standifer Place and exemplify leadership and professionalism.
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with patients and families.
• Work with the interdisciplinary care team to assure accurate patient assessment and develop/revise individualized plans of care.
• Monitor units to ensure appropriate nursing care is provided and notify medical staff and families of changes in patients' conditions.
• Assist with medications and treatments as needed.
• Supervise nursing partners as assigned and assist with the orientation of new nursing partners.
• Ensure the personal dignity and physical safety of each patient, assisting them to attain the highest level of self-care possible.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program accredited by the State.
• Maintain a current unencumbered license to practice in the state where employed.
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth through continuing education offerings.
