About Us:

We are the area's most modern acute-care hospital, an independent, community, non-profit medical center accredited by the Joint Commission with 168-licensed beds, including 148 acute-care beds and a 20-bed Senior Behavioral Unit. Our dedicated team includes approximately 490 employees and 60 volunteers. Our medical staff comprises about 40 active staff members and nearly 100 courtesy, consulting, and Emergency Department staff members.

Located 40 miles southeast of Birmingham, our service area extends through five counties with a population of approximately 62,000 people.

Facilities and Services:

• 13-bed Level Two Emergency Department treating approximately 30,000 patients annually
• Ambulatory/Outpatient Services providing treatment to 61,000 patients each year
