    Gastroenterologist

    Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join an established healthcare system. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and motivation to optimize patient outcomes through exceptional clinical care.

    Job Description

    • Office Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Physician Schedule: 3 to 4 half days in clinic, 3 to 4 half days in surgery, 1 full day off
    • Physician Call 1:5; Physician takes 1 full week call (Friday 8:00 a.m. to Friday 8:00 a.m.), no clinic during call week, only hospital procedures and front-line call coverage
    • Call Friday to Thursday, rotating holidays
    • Average Patient Volumes: Half Day Clinic, Half Day Surgery 8 to 10
    • Practice shares 3 RNs, dedicated MA support for every physician, 2 surgery schedulers in-house
    • Outreach required
    • Potential virtual visits
    • Shared collaboration between physicians for APPs in group
    • Hospital-based Nurse Practitioner sees new consults and rounds ahead of physicians
    • Clinic-based Nurse Practitioner
    • Strong mentorship available from senior physician leadership
    • In-network oncology services offering full spectrum, wrap-around services
    • Onsite equipment available
    • HD Motility and EndoFlip located at the Surgicenter
    • Advanced endoscopist in the group offering EUS and a wide range of pancreaticobiliary interventions
