We are looking for a General and Cardiac Anesthesiologist for locums coverage.

Job Description

• Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab (No OB, No Transplants)
• Location: Hudson, FL
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Schedule: Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available - 5 shifts per week
• Patient Ages: Adult
• In-Patient/Out-Patient: Inpatient
• On Call: Trauma Call: In-house call shift starts at 3 PM and runs to 7 AM. MDs will have a CRNA for the general OR/Trauma/IR cases.
• Support Staff: 1:3 care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self-performing cases is uncommon. Physicians are expected to be present for induction and emergence, participate in post-op care, and participate in pre-op evaluation of patients. This is a hands-on practice.
• Charting/Dictation: EMR

Requirements

• Current State Medical License or ability to get licensure
• Board Certification/Board Eligible: BC
• DEA/CSR Requirements: Yes
