Critical Care APP

Join our team as a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) working clinically in the ICU while the MD is on call. This position requires 12-hour coverage with day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 15 shifts a month.

Job Description

• Will be working clinically in the ICU while the MD is on call.
• 12-hour coverage. Days 7 AM - 7 PM / Nights 7 PM - 7 AM needed.
• 15 shifts a month.
• Must have a Tennessee license and Tennessee DEA required (or easily transferable) at the time of presentation.
• Must be Board Certified.
• Must have BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Must be able to perform special procedures: intubations, central line placements, arterial line placements.
• Must be able to provide case logs from the past 24 months. No specific amount is required, except for special privileges like intubation, arterial lines, thoracentesis, paracentesis, CVC, hemodialysis, and chest tube placement, which requires at least 10 cases in the past 24 months or director supervision for at least the first 10 procedures.
• Patient volume: 12.
• Support staff includes MDs & APPs.
