Job Description

• Help support the success of the office and our patients' oral health by performing licensed hygiene procedures
• Consistently educate our patients on treatment and care
• Build strong lasting relationships with patients
• Ensure that patient records are maintained accurately and thoroughly
• Partner with the administrative team on scheduling appointments

Requirements

• Current state license to practice dental hygiene
• The confidence and ability to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires
• Strong communication skills
• A desire to embrace preventative-centered care
• The ability to perform all hygiene clinical procedures, including (but not limited to) adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
