Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care, and urology.

Job Description

• Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and rendering occupational therapy services to patients/clients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; provide prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion.
• Communicate and document results of treatment including patients' progress toward established goals according to department's policies and procedures.
• The incumbent serves as a resource person for the team and the department; participates in orientation of new staff therapists, physicians, and other health personnel.
• The occupational therapist works within practice guidelines as defined by Oklahoma state law.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Oklahoma Occupational Therapy license
• Active BLS certification
