Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, and wound care.

Job Description

• Perform as a primary Surgical Tech, handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure while applying principles of sterile technique.
• Provide patient care by cleaning, processing, and sterilizing the instruments.
• Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in selecting, assembling, testing, and operating equipment and instruments by following policies and procedures.
• Contribute to expected patient outcomes by following policies, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
• Active BLS certification

Preferred Requirements

• One year of surgical technologist experience
