Patient Care Technician

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Women's Oncology, OB/GYN, & Pediatric Patient Care Technician in Tulsa, OK.

Job Description

• Work in partnership with the registered nurse to support patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to complete delegated tasks for patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Monitor patients and report patients' condition at regular intervals and promptly report any signs or symptoms of concern.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs.
• Assist patients with mobility and basic tasks, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and collect specimens for labs.
• Respond to call lights, provide patient transport, and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures.

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy.
• Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification.
