Regional Pharmacy Technician
The Regional Pharmacy Technician (RPT) is a vital position in the retail pharmacy and therefore plays an important part in the success of our stores. This job demands a professional, caring, and service-oriented attitude. For this position, a person must be good with people, patient, understanding, and able to work while a variety of different tasks that are going on simultaneously, always leading by example and nurturing/maintaining our HomeTown mission.
The Regional Pharmacy Technician reports directly to the Sr. Director of Operations, helping to cover vacations and provide support to any assigned location, in alignment with HomeTown Pharmacy policy. The RPT acts as a role model of professionalism, ethical behavior, and effective decision-making. HomeTown is built on the commitment of serving others - customer, community, teammate, and company. The RPT is held to high standards and always leads by example in maintaining our HomeTown mission.
Job Description
- Must be PTCB certified and maintain credentials
- Certified Technician Immunizer
- CPR Certified
- Be willing to travel the state, have schedule flexibility, and at times stay overnight
- All activities included in the Pharmacy Technician Job Description
- Strong communication skills - listening, verbal and written to provide feedback to the Sr. Director of Operations
- Prioritization skills - ability to assess situations and prioritize based on the need and benefit of location and company
- Do whatever is deemed necessary for creating a friendly, caring, safe, and happy environment/culture for both customer and teammates
