    Interventional Pulmonary

    HonorHealth, a locally governed, non-profit and Forbes-recognized Top Employer, is actively seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonary. This is a hospital-employed position within the growing HonorHealth footprint in the Phoenix metro area, a regional destination for comprehensive, innovative care.

    Job Description

    • Perform advanced bronchoscopy procedures including EBUS-TBNA, navigational bronchoscopy, ION robotic bronchoscopy, and cryobiopsy for the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer and other pulmonary diseases.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, radiology, pathology, and pulmonary medicine to optimize patient care pathways.
    • Support inpatient consult services for complex pulmonary cases requiring interventional evaluation or urgent procedural management.
    • Expand advanced lung cancer screening, incidental nodule programs, and rapid-access diagnostic pathways.
    • Provide outpatient clinic services for longitudinal management of airway disorders, pleural conditions, and post-procedure follow-up.
    • Engage in quality improvement initiatives focused on outcomes, safety, efficiency, and patient experience within the interventional pulmonary service line.
    • Opportunities to participate in clinical trials, device innovation, thoracic oncology research, and teaching of residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
    • Assist in the growth and strategic development of the Interventional Pulmonary Program, including community outreach and education for referring physicians.
