Leading wound care management company. Our growing nursing home wound care practice is in need of Physicians. This position offers flexible work hours, no night or weekend calls, and a great staff to work with, along with competitive compensation.

Job Description

• Manage wound care in the nursing home environment
• Supervise Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners
• Educate personnel
• We expect that you have no knowledge of wound care. We will teach you all there is to know.
• You are expected to read the materials assigned to study and demonstrate this with documents and conversation.
• It takes about a month to learn the basics, 3 months to start to feel comfortable, and 1 year to know wound care.
• This is a day job, Monday through Friday. No nights or weekends.
• You are expected to be available by cell phone 24/7.
• Facilities are grouped by location and assigned to a Physician, who visits these facilities weekly to manage the care of the patients' wounds.
