Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - General Cardiology
Location: O'Fallon, Illinois
Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a General Cardiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in O'Fallon, IL. Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Job Description:
- Monday - Friday weekly schedule
- Rotating call
- EPIC EMR
Requirements:
- Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligibility
- Experience in Cardiology is preferred

Education Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred
Experience Qualifications:
- Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:
- Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required
- Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred
- Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred
- Federal DEA license is preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred
