    Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - General Cardiology

    Location: Carbondale, IL

    Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a Cardiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in Carbondale, IL. Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

    Job Description:

    • Option of a 5 day or 4 day per weekly schedule
    • Rotating call with 4 weekends per year required
    • Main position will be based in Carbondale with outpatient clinic as well as inpatient round
    • Outreach to Marion, IL clinic will be required
    • EPIC EMR
    • Strong support staff available

    Requirements:

    • Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
    • Board Certified
    • Experience in Cardiology is preferred

    Education Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field is required
    • Bachelor's degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree

    Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

    • Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of practice is required
    • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
    • Physician Assistant Certification is required
    • DEA license is preferred
