    Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - General Cardiology

    Location: Decatur, Illinois

    Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a General Cardiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in Decatur, IL. Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

    Job Description:

    • Monday - Friday weekly schedule
    • Rotating call
    • Use of EPIC EMR

    Requirements:

    • Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
    • Board Certified or Board Eligibility
    • Experience in Cardiology is preferred

    Education Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Nursing is required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
    • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred

    Experience Qualifications:

    • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred

    Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

    • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
    • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred
    • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred
    • Federal DEA license is preferred
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred
