Job Description
- Perform high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
- Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
- Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
- Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view, and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high-quality images.
- Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate the ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
- ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
- BLS certification
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred
Benefits
- Pay range: USD $35.00 - USD $45.00 per hour
- Shift: Mornings
- Shift variations: Monday to Friday, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Possible rotating Saturdays
