Anesthesiologist

A regional medical center in South Florida is seeking experienced board-certified anesthesiologists to provide full-scope inpatient coverage across day, evening, and overnight shifts. This is a hands-on and supervisory role requiring strong clinical experience with trauma, regional blocks, and high acuity cases. Candidates must be willing to work call, nights, and weekends - day-only availability will not be considered. Providers must reside out of state (no Florida residents) and will cross-credential across multiple Broward Health sites.

Job Description

• Facility will accept physicians needing a Florida license (rush temp privileges available for clean files)
• Cross-credentialing at multiple Broward Health sites
• Day and nighthawk shifts available; flexible part-time or full-time options
• Orientation support provided
• Clean providers can start within 2-3 weeks
• Full scope of OR cases (no OB/Peds required); trauma and regional ultrasound procedures expected
• HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency
• Travel and lodging prepaid
• Malpractice insurance provided

Requirements

• Board Certification (or BE within 5 years of residency with explanation if >3 years) - Required
• Out-of-state residency with active non-FL driver's license - Required
• Minimum 2 years post-training experience - Required (no new grads)
• Must be able to do in-house call and weekend coverage
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only) - Required
• Strong skills in trauma, regional anesthesia, and running own cases - Required
