A well-established women's health practice in coastal North Carolina is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN to provide weekend hospital call coverage. This locum tenens role offers top 10-15% compensation in the state, a consistent two-weekend-per-month schedule, and the chance to work in a collaborative, community-based environment with a manageable patient load and strong transfer support.

Job Description

• 2 weekends per month:
  • Friday: 12-hour call (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
  • Saturday & Sunday: 24-hour call each day (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM next day)
• 25-bed community hospital with a 7-bed ED
• Delivery volume: 28-34 deliveries/month
• Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call
• No ICU responsibilities and no code response
• Epic EMR
• Air and ground transfer support available
• All travel prepaid and malpractice insurance provided

Requirements

• Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Comfortable with full-scope inpatient call, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Active NC medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
