    Anesthesiologist

    HSHS Medical Group is actively recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a growing team of 22 MDs and 36 CRNAs currently serving the patients at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL. Seeking experience in Pediatric Anesthesiology. Our group provides coverage across a variety of service lines: orthopedic surgery, GI, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, reconstructive surgery, cardio-thoracic/vascular surgery, diagnostic/interventional radiology, OB/Pediatric/Level 3 NICU, Level 1 Adult Trauma, and Level 2 Pediatric Trauma.

    The position is employed with the HSHS Medical Group, which is a not-for-profit integrated network of healthcare services. The position is located at our system hospital - St. Johns Hospital, Springfield, IL; a 431-bed Level I Trauma Center with Level III NICU. St. Johns serves as a teaching hospital for the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. St. Johns Hospital is a Regional Medical Center that offers a comprehensive array of tertiary health services to a population base of 1.5 million central and southern Illinois residents. St. Johns' $121 million Surgery Modernization construction was completed in late Spring of 2014. The Surgery Modernization project put all surgery services, including cardiac, pediatric, day surgery/outpatient, and main surgical services into one space. Work in spacious and comfortable O.R. suites with state-of-the-art technologies.
