    Rehabilitation Services Manager

    Job Description

    • Provide overall management of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Cardiac Rehabilitation, and provide clinical services in your area of certification.
    • Provide leadership consistent with Hutchinson Health's vision of health as it could be, affordability as it must be, through relationships built on trust.
    • Maintain a consistent, visible, and positive role within the organization.
    • Ensure departments are in compliance with all laws and regulatory bodies. Communicate and educate staff and develop processes to ensure compliance is continuously met.
    • Practice fiscal responsibility and cost control by monitoring and adhering to financial reports, forecasts, and budgets. Include staff in continuous efforts of financial improvement.
    • Plan and delegate the work of others. Maintain appropriate staffing and follow service area productivity guidelines and expectations. Involve staff in continuous efforts to identify and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
    • Monitor patient experience, quality, and/or customer service as applicable and involve staff in continuous efforts towards improvement.
    • Follow HR policies. Interview, hire, orient, and train new staff. Supervise, coach, counsel, and appraise service area staff. Retain solid and high-performing staff.
    • Facilitate communication and teamwork between departments to build relationships and facilitate department and interdepartmental success.
    • Develop and track service area policies, procedures, processes, and competencies and communicate updates and changes regularly with staff. Manage service area contracts per Contract Review policies.
    • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Certification in a related clinical discipline (PT, OT, ST) required.
    • Degree in a related clinical discipline (PT, OT, ST), with current MN license in good standing.
    • Three years of health care management experience preferred.
