OB/GYN Healthcare Provider

Job Description:

• Provide routine and annual well-women exams, including pap smears and cervical cancer screenings
• Focus on the female reproductive system, including pregnancy and childbirth
• Provide exceptional acute and preventive medical care to a diverse patient population

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality prenatal care and office-based procedures related to female reproductive health
• Conduct tests to diagnose patients through physical examination and symptom evaluation
• Choose the proper medications, coping mechanisms, and management of diet and exercise regimens
• Counsel and educate patients on family planning services and birth control options
• Educate patients, their families, and the community about health information
• Offer general medical services similar to a primary care doctor's responsibilities

Requirements:

• Current Medicine Doctor license in state of practice
• Obstetrics and Gynecology board certification
• Completed an accredited internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology
• Five (5) plus years of experience
• Ability to communicate information in layman terms to patients and/or their families
• Compassionate and warm towards patients with a good bedside manner and excellent listening skills
