Join our team as a Locum CRNA in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This position offers a supportive and cohesive anesthesia team environment with good relationships reflecting respect and professionalism among CRNAs, physicians, and the OR staff.

Job Description

• Start date: 10/6/2025
• Duration: Ongoing
• Shifts per month: 20
• Need CRNAs to cover 8s, 10s, with some 12s and 16s. Weekends, evenings, and night shifts available.
• May be involved in vascular, hybrid, EP, and thoracic cases.
• Work in ORs, hybrid settings, 2 endoscopy locations, and a bronchoscopy suite.
• No pediatrics, obstetrics, or cardiac cases.
• Typically, a day includes 12 locations, including an EP site for Afib/flutter ablations and a bronch suite for ion robot/EBUS/flex bronchs. Heavy focus on thoracic and surgical oncology cases.
• The usual staffing model is 1:3 with some variation based on case type and patient acuity.
• Physicians may perform solo cases at times.
• Supportive anesthesia techs assist with machine checks and room setups.

Requirements

• Boards: Must be certified
• License: PA Active (will not wait for license)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
• Must be comfortable with thoracic and vascular procedures
• Must be willing to do 8 or 10-hour shifts

Typical Cases Seen

• General, orthopedic, thoracic, cardiothoracic, neuro spine, urology, GI, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, endoscopy, cardiac interventional/EP, robotics, orthopedic trauma (not a designated trauma center), vascular, orthopedic oncology, surgical oncology, colorectal, plastics, bronchoscopy
• CRNAs do spinals and blocks if they have a history of completing them
• 1 CRNA in-house overnight to respond to airways and codes
